Default Get Node Name without namespace

<xxx:FirstName>
Is there anyway to get the "FirstName" only withour the namespace?

The xpath given in the select of xsl:value should return only the value "FirstName".

Could anyone please help me on this?

thanx.

Use local-name().

The XPath 1.0 spec is only about 30 pages long. I recommend you spend an hour reading it.
