Default MDE Problem - Please help

Hello,
I am trying to create a MDE file of a database, but I keep getting an error saying "Microsoft Access was unable to create an MDE database"

It doesn't tell me why. I have the database in the most recent format, and have tried compacting and repairing. Neither provided any help. Any ideas

Regards,
Laura

Try compiling your database code modules ( from the vbe ). If it does not compile it will show you any bad code that needs to be fixed or removed. After you fix or remove the bad code, save the modules and then it should compile as an mde.
