Default MDE Files

Hi

I have been making mde file of my database on a regular basis so that I can then distribution to other users.

Access now comes back with an error - unable to make mde

Has anyone any suggestions as to what has happened !!

1. Will it compile? If not, fix your code.
2. Will it compact/repair? If not, import all your objects into a new mdb. file.
3. Can you create a .mde from a new mdb.? If not reinstall Access.

Thanks v much Bob - your suggestion worked

For info: I ran the compiler thro Visual Basic and hey presto there was the error - corrected it and had no problem creating an MDE file.
