Imar and Gonzalo:

Well!! There is joy in VictorVille today.
Turns out the extra blank in the name was the culprit.
(Thank heavens, now I can get some sleep.)

Also glad to learn that the database I was referring to is not the one I thought and had copied into my project. But that's an easy fix.
So Muchas gracias Gonzalo, and many thanks to you Imar for sticking with me.

I am still going to take some time and delve into Web Services more deeply. Imar: my earlier dealing with Web Services was in the Beginning ASP.NET 2.0 book, where the authors devote an entire chapter to it. I did it all, but I don't count such things until I make my own code without using a book, and that is a completely differnt thing.

Thanks again.

Victor Victor

I know what you mean. Reading and understanding is one thing, reproducing and using that knowledge is a different thing.

Anyway, glad it's working now.
