Default Moving to another host

Hi Imar,
Finally I have decided to move on different host.
I saw their plans and they support MS SQL 2008.
Now please tell me that as I have been using MS SQL 2005 express as explained in book but they are using the following version of 2008 as stated by them.

Quote:
Our 2 hosting plans provide for FREE SQL 2008 databases on separate SQL 2008 database servers. The version installed is SQL 2008 Standard Edition 64 Bit. The version is 100.2531.0 with SP1 installed.
So I wanna know that would it be compatible that is will my script files (2005 express type) run on their database configuration. Please tell me this fact as database is more crucial part and I do not again wanna waste a single minute on such issues.
Thank you.

Express is - under the hood - the same as the commercial versions of SQL Server so your scripts should be compatible.... But why don't you try it out and let us know?

Cheers,

Imar

To try it out, it first requires to get registered with them, and pay money. So I can try only after having account with them and if they also make fake statements/promises then again it would be waste of time and money as well, that is why I ask you such questions before trying out.

Thank you.
Regards,
Jack
