I've bought your excellent Beginning ASP.NET 4.5 in C# and VB, but as an absolute novice now believe I need to start on the Webmatrix book first.

Is an updated edition covering Webmatrix 3 planned? If not, I assume it's not necessary and the 2011 book can be easily used with Webmatrix 3. Thanks.

Most of the changes introduced in WebMatrix 3 were bug fixes and a number of integrations with external services like source control tools and Azure. The Web Pages framework got an update with version 2, but the changes were not that many (mainly in the area of improved validation) so taken altogether, there isn't enough to warrant a new book.

However, if demand is such that the publishers want an updated version, we'd be happy to consider it.
