Hi Imar,
I did get the HTML pages that were created in Dreamweaver uploaded ok. It's just the images I can't upload. I get that same nasty error message (Access Denied) that I talked about in one of my earlier threads on this topic. So, I've resorted to using the Angelfire Web Shell to upload the photos

Right, that seems ok. And if you then set the Remote Folder to / as I explained in an earlier post, everything should work, right?
I can't believe using DW will give too much troubles. It's just using standard, protocol based FTP so I can't see the reasons for a problem. I could be wrong, though.

Strange. It shouldn't be like that.
Since I got a bit curious as to why it doesn't work with Dreamweaver, I opened a free account with AngelFire. Everything works for me as expected. I can upload, put, download, synch, get, and whatever other operations are available without a problem.
What version of DW are you using?

I'm using Dreamweaver MX 2004. Is it possible that I should re-install the MX version? I uninstalled it before I loaded my copy of Studio MX 2004 on my home computer.

Neah, don't think so. I am running both versions side-by-side here without a problem.
Just tested it in MX as well, and it works perfectly.
Can you give a summary of your settings of the first three categories on the Site Definition panel? (Without your password of course ;) ).
There has to be something wrong somewhere....

Hi Ben,
Thanks for your personal message.
If you think that may cause the problem, why don't you try it out? Just uncheck the box, delete all .lck files, and try again.
With how many users are you accessing the server?

I'm the only one accessing the Angelfire web server. I'll try out the suggestion when I get the time to work on the site(possibly this weekend). I haven't had much time to work on the site for a while due to the fact that I've been very busy and I've got 2 (maybe 3) classes starting next week so I'm going to be extremely pressed for time

If you're the only one accessing the site, you can disable Check In / Check Out.
It doesn't work like a "normal" version control system; all it does is prevent two users from messing with the same file. If you're on your own, there is no need for the additional overhead that comes with Check In / Check Out.
Cheers,
Imar

Hi Ben,
Would you mind posting to this forum, instead of sending me messages directly? That'll make things easier for all of us.
Yes, if disabling check in / check out doesn't work, post the stuff from the tree tabs of the Site Def panel. And please describe the problem you're running into. Are you getting timeouts, doesn't it work at all, etc etc

Is it? You rather have us do the work for you, so you don't have to spend the time to read the FAQs at AngelFire? Interesting point of view.....
If you'd read the AngelFire set up instructions, their FAQs *and* this thread, you would have had your answer hours ago....
If you still need an answer, I suggest you follow those steps; the info is all in there.
Cheers,
Imar
