Default FTP Error

I receive "overflow error" while attempting to upload a 90k file via FTP functions in a client application. But it is ok if the file size is smaller than 30k. What may cause this error and how can I solve the problem?

Is the error at the server or the client?

Well, you’re welcome, of course. But what was the problem?
