i had created an Activex in vb6.0, which will downlaod the access database from the server to local system and write some information to it, everything is working fine, the database is downloaded to the local disk writing information to the database , but meanwhile i get a msgbox saying "Invalid URL"

how can i make this message not to be shown to the user

well.. are you trying to open any url in the meantime?? someone is throwing that msgbox.. without more info about the subject we can't help you much.. we don't see your system nor we know how it does any task...
