Well, let me get a few things straight before we continue.
First of all, I didn't write the MediaEdge site which I told you before a couple of times, so I don't know much about it.
Secondly, the book was released early 2004, which means we finished writing it somewhere around October 2003. That's over three years ago; eras in the Internet world.
Finally, ever since the release of ASP 3 - what the book is about - four new major web technologies have been released that I work(ed) with and write about : .NET 1.0, 1.1, 2.0 and 3.0, with 3.5 on the way.
I hope you understand I can't possibly remember everything I wrote (and even the stuff I didn't write) covering those technologies over the past few years *and* be able to reproduce it on my own free Friday evening.
I am giving you support way beyond what you can expect from a technical author, but I am not a magician.
You need to read, diagnose and fix some of the problems yourself as well.....

I am very grateful for all your help, which I have expressed a number of times, and in the days when I was doing this site I did diagnose and sort alot of it out, but comming back to it is not easy for me as I appreciate it must be confusing for you to be helping so many people out and concentrating on your own work. Tonight I think you have achieved alot for me to get the site to it's stage now. I was joking when I said It was your site (lol), I will sort this out as I have done in the past, but a little guidance goes a long long way, and now I feel that I have put upon you more than I should have, and I apologise for doing so..

I appreciate the fact that guidance is important to you; that's why I am trying to give you as much as possible of it. No need to apologize though.....
However, as I said before, I don't see what you see, know what you know, have access to the stuff you have access to yada yada yada the whole story we did before.
In short, you have to help me help you by providing as much information as possible about your problem. Really all I see are your posts on the Wrox forum as clear text in my e-mail program, and not much more. Try looking over your past few posts, and imagine someone that is trying to help you based on that information alone, and nothing more.....

I'm leaving for tonight as we both have had enough, it appears. My last few posts were nothing realy more than a bit banter and relief as I can finally see something happening after all our effort!

I understand and appreciate that, and I wasn't referring to that.
I am not trying to be unfriendly; you just need to provide more *technical information* to make this work.....
Good luck and have a good weekend,
