all - i'm moving into the final stages of beta testing on this version (there will without a doubt be a version 2.8 which has a few changes in it coming soon) and just wanted to know if anyone had any comment/suggestion at this point in time??

Another quick update,
now onto version 2.8. This includes various small updates as suggested by a few testers as well as support for TransactionScope added to objects with child collections attached. A few other cosmetic enhancemnts and bug fixes included also.
You can pick it up here:

Thanks again for the continued support on this one.

Hi all,
Just about completed this round of suggestions and updates on the Site Generator. Below is the final set that will probably comprise the next release. I'd be very grateful of any final comments on this or any bugs that you can weed out as this is the last shot before release. THanks again for the effort all.

catch up soon.

Hello again,
After many late night 'sittings', i've now arrived at what i feel is a good release candidate for the next version of the Site Generator. I'd really appreciate it if you guys could give this a good roadtest and post any comments (good and bad) that you feel are appropriate.
Anyway, the release candidate version is here:
http://www.originaltalent.com/downloads/FlixonV3.02.zip
Ok, don't be shy - give it a try ....

When I run it against the standard BeerHouse Database, with no modifications, in SQL Server 2005, I get popup erros like the following:

Any thoughts?

CFair,
It looks like you 'may' already have had a prior version of Flixon running on your machine (is this correct??). if so, remove the old version 1st (including removing any old templates from your system). then, try again (by downloading the new version FlixonV3.02) and extract it to the c:\program file location.
One more thing to check is the Flixon registry entry for the database that you are running it against (in fact, you may wish to remove the registry key for flixon altogether - you can find it at: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Flixon. just click on the Flixon part and hit the delete key. Also, check what template path you are pointing to as the new template set doesn't have a template called Admin_Edit.aspx (as per your screenshot)
let me know how you get on. Also, the current version is 1.4.0.0, so you should see this in the form i.e. the caption will read:
Flixon Site Generator (using DLL version: 1.4.0.0)

Ok, so I cleared everything. The registry settings are gone, I uninstalled the older version, and extracted the latest zip file to teh appropriate location.
Everything worked correctly, no errors, and the "site" compiles and runs correctly.
However, the title bar still shows v 1.3.0.0, and not 1.4.0.0 as expected. I looked at the version of the DLL in the zip and it appears to be 1.3.

ok - i've 'zipped' that version (FlixonV3.02.zip) back up again and you can download it. make sure to clear the browser cache etc in case it's holding the previous zip.
Let me know if this works this time (version wise).
